ZYDRON — live audiovisual performance
A generative system running live: sound and image produced simultaneously, in real time, from the same set of parameters. Not VJing over a finished track, not synced video — one process, played live, whose result cannot be repeated.
The set moves through electronic music, sound experimentation and generative image across a 30-, 45- or 60-minute arc, with rising density and peaks of noise and visual collapse. The aesthetic is degraded signal, corrupted archive and equipment pushed past its limit — closer to analogue video culture and glitch than to science-fiction imagery.
ZYDRON is the audiovisual project of Caleb Mascarenhas, multimedia artist, programmer and musician. The work also circulates as generative art series and sound pieces.
